From November 14th to 16th, 2025, a grand event gathering global wisdom in the medical aesthetics and health industry was grandly opened in Shanghai. The event included the “1st Global Medical Aesthetics and Health Industry Summit, 5th Yangtze River Delta Medical Device Industry High-Quality Development Conference, 5th China Reproductive Tract Plastic and Aesthetic Surgery and Sexual Medicine Conference, China Medical Aesthetics and Plastic Surgery Innovation and Development Summit Forum, and the 2nd Annual Academic Conference of the Chinese Association of Plastic and Aesthetic Surgery’s Ultra-Microscopic Medical Repair Branch.”

This conference, based on the high-quality development needs of China’s medical aesthetics and anti-aging industry, integrated cutting-edge global resources and focused on hot topics such as facial anti-aging, genital plastic surgery and intimate rejuvenation, large-area body sculpting, synthetic biology and regenerative medicine. The “China (5th) Genital Plastic Surgery and Sexual Medicine Conference,” hosted by Shinrong Plastic Surgery, was held concurrently. At the Genital Plastic Surgery Forum on November 16th, Lu Wei, Vice President of Shinrong Plastic and Cosmetic Surgery, delivered a special report entitled “Selection Strategies for Different Materials in Penile Enlargement Surgery.” She analyzed in depth the advantages and disadvantages of different materials in clinical application, providing a systematic decision-making basis for material selection in penile enlargement surgery, reflecting the innovative trend of cross-integration of medical aesthetics technology and materials science.
